Recently, Congress has offered to form alliances with smaller parties in Uttar Pradesh. Doors are open for all parties for alliance. Let us inform that SP President Akhilesh Yadav has also decided not to contest elections with any big party this time, although the party is constantly engaged in nexus with smaller parties, under which Akhilesh has appointed Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party President Om Prakash Rajbhar, Mahan. The party’s chief Keshav Dev Maurya, Rashtriya Lok Dal chief Jayant Choudhary and Janwadi Party’s Sanjay Chauhan have tied up. On the other hand, the BSP has decided to contest the elections alone this time. Mayawati has ruled out allying with anyone. The BSP will contest all 403 seats alone.

What option does Congress have
It is worth noting that SP and Congress are not the only ones who are resorting to smaller parties in Uttar Pradesh. BJP is also openly seeking the cooperation of smaller parties. The BJP has tied up with Anupriya Patel’s Apna Dal (S) and Sanjay Nishad’s Nishad Party. There, independent MLA Raghuraj Pratap Singh (Raja Bhaiya) will also contest the UP elections this time. It is being said that Raja Bhaiya is not in the mood to contest elections with SP and Congress may be a different option for him.
