New Delhi. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said on Wednesday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi tells people in every election – choose me. Is he going to become Chief Minister from Prime Minister? Let him tell from where he will contest the elections? People vote on local issues. People are fed up with inflation and unemployment under Modi government.
When he was asked in Kalaburagi, Karnataka whether the elections of 5 states will be the semi-finals of the general elections of 2024? On this Kharge said- It is not so. Every state has different election issues, voting is done according to them. Lok Sabha elections are separate from Assembly elections. Be it Municipal Corporation or Lok Sabha elections. In every election, Prime Minister Narendra Modi asks people to elect him. Kharge asked- Is he himself going to become CM? I believe that people vote for leaders on local issues. People will vote for those who worked for them.
Regarding seat sharing among the parties included in the opposition alliance INDIA for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Kharge said that it will be discussed after the assembly elections to be held in five states. Congress is doing good work. We will win elections in all five states.
People angry with BJP, Gehlot-Bhupesh did good work

Ashok Gehlot and Bhupesh Baghel are doing good work in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh. There is no issue there. People are angry with Shivraj Singh Chauhan in Madhya Pradesh. Therefore, we hope that we will bring our government in all the five states.
Kharge responded to allegations of corruption in Karnataka
On the allegation of calling Karnataka an ATM of Congress, the Congress President said that our government was formed in the state two-three months ago. BJP is already making allegations of corruption. These people are trying to defame us in the elections. They should think before speaking. Nothing is going to happen with this.
