New Parliament House: The new Parliament House of India is all set to be inaugurated under the Central Vista Project. It will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 28 May 2023. Now the main opposition Congress party has objected to this. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi objected to the inauguration by PM Modi and said that he should not inaugurate. In his place, the President should inaugurate the Parliament House. Let us tell you that Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla met PM Modi and invited him to inaugurate the new House.
Controversy started over the inauguration
The Congress party has objected to the inauguration of the new Parliament House of India. He has said that PM Modi should not inaugurate the new Parliament House built under the Central Vista Project. Instead, this House should be inaugurated by the President. Expressing objection to this, Rahul Gandhi said that not getting the President to inaugurate the new Parliament House is an insult to him. Jairam Ramesh, the General Secretary of the Congress Party, has called the inauguration of the new House by PM Modi a plan of personal pride of Prime Minister Modi. Sharing a picture, he wrote, “The sole architect, designer and activist of the new Parliament House, which he will inaugurate on May 28. The picture says it all – personal vanity project.”

dispute over date
As the day of inauguration of the new Parliament House draws near. Controversies have started from the opposition side. Now objections have been expressed regarding the date of inauguration of the new Parliament House. The opposition says that Vinayak Damodar Savarkar’s birthday is on May 28, 2023 itself. The Central Government has deliberately chosen this date for the inauguration.
