New Delhi (EMS). Aam Aadmi Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal is afraid of going to jail. Because the sword of going to jail is hanging over them. Investigating agencies can arrest them any time. In such a situation, on New Year, Kejriwal met his party workers. While addressing everyone, he also brought forward the upcoming fear. CSM Arvind Kejriwal has said that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has gained popularity and acceptance among the public through its people-centric and work-centric politics. He said that party workers should be ready to go to jail for the path we have chosen for the public good. Addressing party leaders virtually at the National Council meetings, the AAP supremo also said she was proud of the five party leaders who are in jail in cases related to the alleged Delhi Liquor Policy scam. If you talk about giving good education to children and providing free treatment to the poor, you will have to go to jail and we have to be ready for this.
It is noteworthy that the Delhi CM’s comment came when the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned him to appear before the central agency on January 3 in a money laundering case related to Delhi Excise Policy. Kejriwal said that I think we are facing struggle, but there is no need to be sad. Our five leaders who are in jail today are our heroes. We are very proud of them all. He said that he is in constant touch with the lawyers. It is a very good thing that despite being in jail, the morale of all our leaders is still very high. The AAP chief said his party has emerged in politics in just a few years because it focused on things that other parties did not focus on.
Kejriwal said that we started talking about education, health, electricity, inflation and employment, which no party ever did. For the first time in the country, people got a real alternative to these parties and people started liking the politics of work. He said that if we had not succeeded and done something good, none of our party leaders would have gone to jail and today everyone would have been happy with their families. ED issued third summons to Kejriwal on December 22 and asked him to appear on January 3.
