CM Kejriwal: Delhi CM Kejriwal has embarked on a nationwide tour to unite the opposition against the central government’s ‘National Capital Civil Service Authority’ ordinance. So far in this campaign, he has met Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and CM Mamata Banerjee. He has reached Mumbai in the next stop of this journey. Where he will also meet former CM of Mahavikas Aghadi and President of Shiv Sena (UBT) Uddhav Thackeray and NCP leader Sharad Pawar. Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann is constantly with him during this campaign.

    Mamta supported Kejriwal

On Tuesday, 23 May 2023, Delhi CM Kejriwal reached Kolkata to seek support from West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee. During this, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, Raghav Chadha and Atishi Singh also went with him. After this meeting, CM Mamta Banerjee assured CM Kejriwal that she is openly with the Delhi government on this issue. Gathering support against the ordinance

Let us tell you that in the battle of rights between the Delhi Government and the Governor, the Supreme Court had given a decision in favor of the Delhi Government. In which the government was also given the rights of transfer posting of officers. Which Kejriwal was considering as his victory. Meanwhile, on May 19, the central government promulgated the ‘National Capital Civil Services Authority’ ordinance and handed over the earlier administrative powers to the governor. Along with this, LG’s permission was made mandatory on law, land and police as well as other issues. It will be necessary for the Central Government to pass this ordinance from the Parliament in the next 6 months. If it does not pass, it will automatically end. That is why CM Kejriwal has embarked on a campaign to garner the support of the opposition across the country.
