Senior Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Indresh Kumar on Saturday claimed that the previous UPA government tried its best to implicate him in a false case of so-called saffron terror, but failed. Kumar said this while addressing an international conference jointly organized by the RSS-affiliated Muslim Rashtriya Manch, Vishwagram and the National Security Awareness Forum to deliberate on ‘Global Terrorism vs Humanity, Peace and Prospect’.
At the end of this seminar, a resolution was passed and a demand was made from the government that the linking of caste and religion with terrorism should be stopped and the person doing so should be punished under the law.
Indresh Kumar said, “Caste and religion should not be linked with terror, as such alliances are exploited to their advantage by those promoting terrorism. It should be banned and made an offense punishable under law. Exploitation of anyone in the name of religion and caste should be stopped, condemned and punished under it. ,
Kumar recounted that “The Government of India (erstwhile UPA government) spent Rs 300-400 crore for the ‘saffron’ terrorism case against me. Even after installing the entire government machinery, they could not bring my name among the accused. After that the poor government was out of power (in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections).

He said, “My name was not in the list of witnesses or accused. But the whole world was told that Indresh Kumar was involved, there was a case against him. I have seen such a big lie. ,
