    Bulldozer action on Hindu refugees took political color, IAS Tina Dabi's action plan returned happiness to the homeless

    IAS Tina Dabi: In the name of removal of encroachment by famous IAS officer Tina Dabi, bulldozers were run on the houses of displaced Hindus from Pakistan. After which the victim’s family became homeless. After this action in Jaisalmer, the political pressure to take action against Tina Dabi increased. Even before this, he gave orders to find land to settle the homeless Hindu families. Now the district administration has announced to give them 40 bighas of land. In which the condition has been kept that this land will be given only to those who have Indian citizenship.

    The case took political color

    After the bulldozer action, the matter escalated so much that it had taken a political colour. The sword of action was hanging on Tina Dabi. Action was taken against them by accusing them of encroachment of government land. After this, the angry displaced Hindus started protesting in front of Tina Dabi’s office. After the incident, the BJP attacked the Gehlot government on this issue and supported the protest. After this, Gehlot government minister Khachariawas had condemned the incident and promised to take action.

    ordered after pressure

    Seeing the matter taking a political colour, Jaisalmer District Collector Tina Dabi ended the dharna by assuring that a new place would be set up within a week. After this, Dabi formed a committee and after selecting the right land, issued orders to settle it in a week. Jagdish Ashiya, secretary of the Urban Improvement Trust, told that after the order, they have identified about 40 bighas of land in Mool Sagar village.

    Only those with Indian citizenship will get land

    On Monday 22 May 2023 the marked land has been done by road roller. Jagdish Ashiya said that the administration plans to settle 250 displaced families on 40 bighas of land. UIT will give land pattas to those families who have got Indian citizenship. On the other hand, those who have not got citizenship yet, their record will be taken from the Government of India and settled here.
