The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday questioned former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh for nearly five hours in a Rs 100 crore money laundering case. At the same time, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned his son Hrishikesh Deshmukh for questioning in the money laundering case on Friday i.e. today. Deshmukh has been remanded in ED custody till November 6 after he was produced in the Holiday Court on Tuesday. The ED on Monday arrested Anil Deshmukh in a money laundering case after a 12-hour probe. Since then he is in police custody.
BJP minister targeted
Now BJP leader Kirit Somaiya has targeted Shiv Sena and NCP in the matter. Taking aim, Kirit said that it is still the turn of more leaders. He tweeted that former Home Minister Anil Deshmukh has been arrested. Now it is the turn of the other leaders. The recovery funds had reached the leaders of Shiv Sena and NCP, including son, son-in-law, partner… and Anil Parab. Let us inform that former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh, who was on the run, had written a letter to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and said that Anil Deshmukh had demanded Rs 100 crore every month from Sachin Wajhe as Home Minister. In this case, ED had called Anil Deshmukh for questioning. After which Anil Deshmukh was arrested on Monday after 12 hours of continuous interrogation. Now he has been sent to police custody till November 6.

Anil Deshmukh was not cooperating in the investigation
The ED had arrested Deshmukh saying that he was not cooperating in the investigation during interrogation. On the same day, he was produced before a special holiday court, which sent him to ED custody till Saturday. Let us inform that on Thursday morning, ED officials took Deshmukh to the hospital for examination and brought him back to his Ballard Estate office around 1.30 pm. After half an hour, he started questioning Deshmukh. Which lasted till six in the evening.
