On the night of 28th September, Devi Singh Bhati was admitted to membership at the BJP office in Jaipur. State BJP President CP Joshi, in the presence of the party’s Rajasthan in-charge Prahlad Joshi, put a BJP scarf around his neck and made him return home. Bhati is considered close to former CM Vasundhara Raje Scindia.

Even before the elections, many big people have joined BJP and many have returned home. Among these, one name which is most discussed is that of Devi Singh Bhati. Bhati Vasundhara Raje, 7-time MLA from Kolayat in Bikaner, has also been a minister in the Scindia government. He separated from BJP in 2019.
Former minister and seven-time former MLA Shri Devi Singh Bhati joined the membership of Bharatiya Janata Party. In the past too, BJP has taken advantage of his experiences, now with his joining the party again, BJP has become stronger.

The former minister has termed his return home as a proud moment. After taking membership he said-
‘After five years you have embraced us, I feel proud. I got lost due to some points. And there were some complaints. They are gone now. The country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has increased the prestige of India not only in the country but in the entire world. In the coming time, all our supporters will take to the streets and overthrow the useless Congress government. It is certain that BJP will rule in the upcoming assembly elections. Lotus will bloom in 2023.
77-year-old Bhati left the BJP in 2019 in anger. He had rebelled against Union Minister Arjunram Meghwal. But when it could not be proved, after feeling isolated, he left the party and formed the Social Justice Forum.
Many big leaders joined BJP
Rajasthan Assembly elections 2023 have not been announced. But even before this, the process of many big leaders of Rajasthan joining BJP has started. Along with Bhati, CLC coaching director Shravan Chaudhary, former BSP candidate from Bandikui Bhagchand Saini and BL Ranwan from Sikar also joined BJP. It is believed that the strengthening of BJP’s stronghold can become the reason for the weakness of Congress.
In the last one month itself, many have joined the BJP. These also include the names of senior Congress leaders. In the month of May-June, the names of former MP Subhash Maharia, Om Prakash Pahadia, son of former Chief Minister Jagannath Pahadia, family members of former President Pratibha Patil and Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee member Vijendra Singh Shekhawat are included.
In July, 17 leaders had joined BJP together. Among them was former CPM MLA Pawan Duggal, who agitated against the Vasundhara government. He had attended the party with his wife.
