MP Election 2023 Prior to this, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan made several announcements at the Brahmin Mahakumbh in Bhopal yesterday to help Brahmins. A huge Brahmin Mahakumbh was organized at Jamboree Ground in the capital. In which lakhs of Brahmin community people gathered from all over the state. Through this Mahakumbh, the 11-point demands of the society were placed before the Shivraj government. After which CM Shivraj, who came to participate in the program, made several important announcements. He announced to give government leave from the salary of the priests. Along with this, separate big gifts were given to the students of the society.
Lord Parshuram will be a holiday on Jayanti
While addressing the Brahmin Mahakumbh, CM Shivraj showered gifts on the Brahmin community gathered in lakhs. He said that the BJP government has decided that henceforth Lord Parshuram Jayanti will be a government holiday in the state. Along with this, the stories of Lord Parshuram will be taught in all textbooks. The state government will give Rs 8,000 to hostel students of Sanskrit schools up to class 1-5, Rs 10,000 to students of class 6-12.
Priests will get monthly honorarium
During the rain of announcements in the Brahmin Mahakumbh, CM Shivraj announced that the government will give an honorarium of Rs 5,000 per month to the priests of temples which do not have agricultural land. Along with this, the system was abolished in which only the collector could auction the land of the temple. He said that from now on only the priests of the temple will auction any land of the temple.

Warning on love jihad
Giving a clear message on the issue of Love Jihad, CM Shivraj said that love can work in Madhya Pradesh but Jihad will not be tolerated at any cost. Such elements will be completely demolished. He promised that these things will not happen on the land of MP.
