Balochistan Bomb Blast: At least 34 people have been reported dead in an explosion that occurred on Friday (September 29) in Pakistan’s Balochistan province. According to media reports, a police officer is also included among the dead. More than 100 people are reported injured in the blast. Pakistan’s Dawn newspaper has given information about the blast. It is being told that this explosion was a suicide bombing.
People had gathered on the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammed
According to the information, this explosion took place near a mosque in Mastung district of Balochistan, where people had gathered to celebrate the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad. Mastung Assistant Commissioner Atta Ul Munim has called it a big blast.
Mastung told Dawn newspaper that the administration reached the spot as soon as information about the accident was received. Many people have died in the accident. Whereas, more than 100 people have been injured. Who have been taken to nearby hospitals. He said that the condition of some of the injured is very serious.
Second major explosion in a month
Meanwhile, according to Balochistan’s interim Information Minister Jan Achakzai, a rescue team has been sent to Mastung. He claimed that all hospitals have been put on emergency status and those who are seriously injured are being taken to Quetta. Till now no organization has taken responsibility for this blast.
Let us tell you that this is the second major explosion in Mastung district in the month of September. A similar blast had taken place earlier this month, in which several people, including Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazal (JUI-F) leader Hafiz Hamdullah, were injured.
