Former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh’s wife and MP Preneet Kaur may leave the Congress. Preneet Kaur has indicated to join her husband Captain Amarinder Singh’s newly formed party Punjab Lok Congress. He has written ‘Captain for 2022’, removing the word Congress from the display picture of his Twitter account.
Doing so by Preneet Kaur is considered to be a way of indirectly responding to Punjab Congress in-charge Harish Choudhary issuing show cause notices to her. Congress MP Preneet Kaur did not even attend an important meeting convened by Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi at 10 Janpath on Thursday. Where after all the MPs of Punjab were present, she remained absent from that meeting.
Even after Captain Amarinder Singh’s resignation from the Congress, Preneet Kaur had kept quiet and has not said anything so far about remaining in the Congress or leaving it. During this, she has been seen at many places from the meeting of the councilors of Patiala. During this, the councilors raised slogans in favor of Capt.
