Baba Balaknath comes from the same Nath sect from which Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath comes. CM Yogi Nath is the Mahant of Gorakhdham sect and Baba Balaknath is the Mahant of Mastnath Math in Rohtak, Haryana. Balaknath entered spiritual life at the age of 6.
Baba Balaknath was born in Yadav family
Baba Balaknath was born in a Yadav family in Kohrana village of Alwar district. The entire family worked in agriculture but was also active in the service of saints and sages. This was the reason why Baba Balaknath went to Hanumangarh Math with Mahant Chandnath at an early age.
Political journey of Baba Balaknath
Talking about the political journey of Baba Balaknath, his political beginning was from the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. He contested elections from Alwar on Bharatiya Janata Party ticket and reached Parliament after winning. After this, BJP played a bet on him on Tijara assembly seat, here also he won and is now in the race for CM. In fact, in the year 2014, BJP had fielded Mahant Chandnath from Alwar and won. But he died due to illness and in those elections this seat went to BJP. In 2019, Baba Balaknath contested from this seat and carried forward the Guru’s legacy.
