This is 2.8 feet less than normal. The normal water level of Wazirabad pond is 674.50 feet. According to officials, less raw water is being released into the Yamuna from Haryana. According to DJB, the production of water in Wazirabad water treatment plant is decreasing due to the decrease in water level in Wazirabad pond. The plant is working about 15 percent less than its capacity of 136 MGD.
Around 900 MGD water is being supplied in the capital. For the last two days, there is a continuous decrease in the supply.
