There is a possibility of rain in these states
According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), there is a possibility of heavy rains from some parts of Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha and West Bengal. At the same time, light to moderate rain may occur over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Lakshadweep, Karnataka and parts of Maharashtra till October 12. Along with Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Odisha, some parts of Gujarat are also likely to receive rain. There is a possibility of light rain in Northeast India, Sikkim and West Bengal.
The Meteorological Department told about cyclonic storm Jawad that this storm will pass through Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra. During this time, there will be dark clouds in these states and there will be a possibility of strong wind. The effect of cyclone storm can be seen from 17 to 18 October. The impact of the cyclone can be seen up to Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi-NCR and Uttar Pradesh. Apart from this, the IMD has predicted heavy rains in many districts of Kerala on October 12, 13 and 14. In view of the possibility of heavy rains in Kerala, an orange alert was issued on October 10 itself. It has been expressed that 6 districts of Kerala may receive heavy rains for the next 3-4 days. These include Idukki, Ernakulam, Kottayam, Alappuzha, Pathanamthitta and Kollam. IMD has warned of heavy rain in these 6 districts for 3 days. The Meteorological Department has also warned of rain in Kerala, Karnataka and Telangana and Rayalaseema till October 14. Apart from this, a rain warning has also been issued in South Coast of Andhra Pradesh, Goa and Konkan, Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam and Idukki for a few days from Monday, October 11. Scattered rain and thundershowers are also likely to continue over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Gujarat and Lakshadweep.
