Ranchi: Monsoon is becoming active once again in Jharkhand. There is a possibility of heavy rain in many districts of Jharkhand for the next two days. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert regarding this. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunderstorms in many areas of Bokaro, Dhanbad, Dumka, Gumla, Khunti, Ramgarh, Simdega, Chatra, Deoghar and Palamu including Ranchi.

Meteorologist Abhishek Anand said that the low pressure system that was prevailing in northern Odisha and southern Jharkhand has weakened. At the same time, a cyclonic circulation is being made in Jharkhand and adjoining areas, which is passing above 1.5 km above the ground. At present, a cyclonic zone is formed in Odisha near the Bay of Bengal. Simultaneously, Monsoon Turf Line is passing through Ranchi via Firozpur Hisar Digha, Silli Jamshedpur.There will be some relief after August 22

According to the weather forecast, light and moderate rain may occur in almost all areas of the state on August 19. On August 20 and 21, there may be rain and thunder in many areas of the state. After August 22, the rain will be a little less. The meteorologist said that no major change will be seen in the maximum temperature in the coming four-five days. From June 1 to August 18, Jharkhand received 718.8 mm of rainfall. While the normal rainfall till this time is 703.4 mm. In such a situation, there has been 2% more rain so far. Monsoon conditions can be seen in the coming days as well.

Monsoon has been normal in Jharkhand in the last 24 hours. Light to moderate rain has been recorded at some places. Along with this, heavy rain has been recorded at one or two places. The highest rainfall of 41 mm has been recorded in Khunti’s Arki. The maximum temperature of 36.0 degree Celsius was recorded in Deoghar. The minimum temperature recorded in Chaibasa is 22 degrees.
