After the death of Manish Gupta, six policemen including the SHO have been suspended. But in the meantime, the Yogi government has taken an important decision and if anyone is found guilty under this, he will be sacked.
In fact, due to the day-to-day incidents happening in the state, the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has decided to investigate each and every policemen and officers involved in the charges posted in the police station and circle. For this, CM Yogi Adityanath constituted two separate committees under the chairmanship of DG Police Intelligence and ADGP of Law and Order. Orders have been given to prepare for police personnel. So that after the report is made, the guilty policemen can be sacked.
Let us inform that after the death of property dealer Manish Gupta of Kanpur, the politics of the state has become hot. After this CM Yogi has also come into action. CM Yogi held a high level meeting. In this meeting, he said that the UP Police is the largest civil police force in the country. On many occasions the police have given their efficiency and excellent example. But there are complaints about some policemen being involved in illegal activities. Due to which the name of UP Police is getting spoiled. In recent months, many top officials have been sacked and many have been suspended for their misconduct.
CM Yogi has bluntly told the Additional Chief Secretary and DGP of the Home Department that not a single policeman involved in corruption should remain a part of the UP Police. He has directed to give a list of such policemen with evidence.
After the order of the DM, two high level committees have been constituted. The committee constituted under the chairmanship of DG Intelligence will have ADG Law and Order and Home Secretary as a member. This committee will screen the officers of ASP and DSP posts. While the second committee headed by ADG Law and Order will screen the police personnel posted on the posts of Inspector and Sub Inspector.
