8 cases of theft exposed in inquiry, search for others continues Bhaskar News Service
Firozabad-: In Firozabad district, the police have arrested two accused of stealing by breaking the lock of closed houses. Police have recovered 8 stolen mobiles, gold and silver jewelery from them. They used to sell the jewelery to the goldsmiths at a low price. The police is also looking for them. SP City Sarvesh Kumar Mishra said that under the leadership of CO City Kamlesh Kumar, the Police Station North team has arrested two thieves of the inter-district gang. During enquiry, eight different cases of theft have been unearthed by them.
SP City told that 5 teams were formed to nab these thieves. The arrested accused during interrogation gave their names as Sanju alias Sanoj s/o Rajveer Shankhwar R/o Gundela Nagra Police Station Ghiror District Mainpuri Hall Address Elan Nagar Police Station North and Sanjay alias Kallu s/o Gaya Prasad R/o Bijli Ghar Qazi Pada Police Station Rakabganj Agra Hall Address Vishnu Nagar Police Station Line Firozabad has told.
During interrogation, he told the police that he used to target locked houses. He used to clean that house by breaking the locks. Before committing the theft, he used to raid the locked house. So that he can’t get caught. Before stealing, he used to come with his mouth tied with a cloth. So that they cannot be identified. During the thefts done by these thieves from the houses, the stolen jewelery was sold by them at the shop of goldsmiths.
SP City told that he is also identifying those goldsmiths. Soon he will also be arrested and action will be taken.
