Special session of Parliament will be held in the new building
The proceedings of the special session of Parliament, which will run from September 19 to 22, will be held in the new building. At the same time, offices have also been allotted to the Union Ministers in the new Parliament. 11 senior ministers including Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari have been allotted offices on the ground floor, others will have offices on the first floor. It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had laid the foundation stone of the new building right in front of the old Parliament on 10 December 2020. The issue of receiving the invitation letter was raised late.
Some party leaders also said that they could not attend the program due to late receipt of invitation letters for the program. Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi, reacting to the parties’ statement, said that it is not true that they received the invitation for the flag hoisting ceremony ‘very late’ and Mallikarjun Kharge did not participate in the ceremony. Joshi said that if the invitation was sent late, then how did Congress leader Adhir Ranjan come? But Mallikarjuna did not come. He said that Congress always wants to do politics. The same argument was also given by some other opposition parties like TMC.
Am I not enough: Adhir Ranjan
