BJP MP from Unnao Sakshi Maharaj has been tried in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. According to Deputy DM Apoorva Pandey, Sakshi Maharaj had organized a program on her birthday (January 12) at Bhagwan Bhavan Ashram on Railway Road, Rishikesh. A case of violation of Section 144 and Covid Guidelines has been registered against 40 to 50 people including BJP MP.
What restrictions are applicable in Uttarakhand?
According to the new guideline, night curfew will continue from 10 pm to 6 am. Political rallies have been banned till January 16. Orders have been issued to keep the state’s swimming pools and water parks closed till January 16. Instructions have been given to open gyms, spas etc. with 50%. Instructions have been given to allow 50% of the people according to the place in the marriage ceremony. Restrictions on entry of persons from other states have been implemented in Uttarakhand. Persons who have certificates of both the vaccination doses, their admission is valid, but those who do not have certificates, they must have a negative RT-PCR report of 72 hours, only then they will get admission.
The code of conduct is also applicable in the state.
With the announcement of assembly elections in Uttarakhand, the model code of conduct is also in force. Voting for 70 assembly seats in the state will be held in a single phase on February 14. The results of Uttarakhand elections will be out on March 10 along with all the states together.
