Kotwali Dehat: The watchman was locked in a room in the MPS school and masked thieves stole goods worth about five lakh rupees from a shop in the town. Both the victims have filed a complaint about the incident in the police station. MPS Global School is running in front of Shadipur on Khatima-Panipat highway under construction. On Tuesday night, three thieves entered the school. They locked the watchman Naresh present in the school in the room. After this, the thieves stole goods worth about Rs 4 lakh including 10 batteries, seven cameras, mic set, DVR, LCD, gas cylinder, induction etc kept in the school. Chowkidar Naresh somehow came out of his room and informed the school owner about the incident. On the other hand, ahead of Millennium School on Najibabad Road in Kasba Kotwali Dehat, there is a shop by the name of Bharat Tubewell Boring Works. At night the thieves made a hole in the back wall of the shop. The thieves then stole three Summersail motors, a water tank item, a copper item and a wifi from the shop. The report of the incident has been given to school director Navneet Kumar and shop owner Tasleem Ahmed, resident of village Lalpur, to the police. According to school director Navneet Kumar, there was a theft in the school in the month of July in which LCD and DVR of the camera were stolen. Apart from this, there was theft last year also. In which thieves had stolen the batteries. Who were later found lying in a field.
