Khurja. Member of Parliament Mahesh Sharma inspected the thermal power plant under construction near Dussehra village of the area. Where he collected information about power generation by observing the process of the plant. On Monday, former Union Minister of BJP and MP from Gautam Budh Nagar, Dr. Mahesh Sharma reached village Dussehra to inspect the thermal power plant under construction. While inspecting the campus, got information about the project. Mahesh Sharma learned about the power generation capacity from the officials of the construction organizations. He said that with the help of this plant, electricity can be supplied to other states besides Uttar Pradesh. Definitely this plant will solve the problem of electricity. This 1320 MW green project will be completed by February 2024 at a cost of 11 thousand 89.42 crores. He further said that construction work has continued continuously even during the pandemic like Corona. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream is that the country should become self-sufficient in the power sector as well. Due to which Khurja will get a different identity and thousands of youths will also get employment. BJP District President Anil Sisodia, MLA Meenakshi Singh, MP representative Satyaprakash Singh, Gaurav Sharma, Naresh Solanki etc. were involved during the inspection.
