It was told on behalf of LJP (Ram Vilas) that Chirag Paswan, National President of Lok Janshakti Party (Ra) met the Governor of Tamil Nadu and handed over a memorandum regarding the harassment of Bihari laborers and workers living in Tamil Nadu. Earlier too, Paswan had written a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah in this matter.

Additional Director General of Police GS Gangwar said on Monday that a case has been registered after investigation on false, misleading and hysterical videos and posts being circulated on social media related to certain violent incidents with residents of migrant Bihar in the state of Tamil Nadu. He said that the Economic Offenses Wing, Bihar, Patna, in the course of investigation on the circulation of videos regarding certain incidents of violence in relation to migrant Biharis in the State of Tamil Nadu, came to know that deliberately misleading, rumour-mongering and inciting. An atmosphere of fear is being created among the public by posting photographs, videos, text messages etc., due to which the problem of law and order is likely to arise. He told that 30 such videos and posts have been identified. He told that an accused has been arrested in this case.
