Char Dham Yatra is being started from 3rd May. The Uttarakhand government is on full alert mode regarding this journey. The government has fixed a daily time limit for the pilgrims going on the Char Dham Yatra. Permission has been given for 15,000 pilgrims per day in Badrinath, 12,000 in Kedarnath, 7,000 in Gangotri and 4,000 in Yamunotri. Now from May 3, with the opening of the doors of Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham, Char Dham Yatra will be started.

Gora Mai Mandir Gaurikund Departure and stay Gaurikund from Phata on 4th May at 8:00 am. After this, the Panchmukhi Doli of the Lord will depart from Gaurikund to Shri Kedarnath Dham at 6:00 am on Thursday, 5th May. The doors of Kedarnath Dham will be opened for the devotees to see at 6:00 am on Friday, May 6. After this, the doors of Badrinath will be opened at 6 am on Sunday, May 8. After this, the throne of Adi Guru Shankaracharya from the temple Joshimath and the Rawal ji yoga meditation of Badrinath Dham including Telkalash, Gadu, Ghara will be Pandukeshwar, departure and migration.
45 days arrangement
The Uttarakhand government has made this arrangement for 45 days. Nearly two years after the start of the Corona epidemic, there has been a lot of enthusiasm among the people regarding the Chardham Yatra. This time a large number of people are expected to reach Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri, Yamunotri Dham. So far more than 1.5 lakh devotees have registered on the Char Dham Yatra portal. And this number seems to be increasing continuously.

RTPCR report mandatory
Now there are two days left for the journey to start, in such a situation, the maximum focus of the government is on the increasing cases of infection. The government does not want the entry of coronavirus in the state with the passengers, so more attention has been paid to taking precautions. Along with this, it has been made mandatory to bring positive report of RTPCR test for Char Dham Yatra. Without this report, the entry of devotees will not be done.
