The gang that stole and disposed of 200 luxury vehicles was caught, many vehicles including Creta, Breeza were recovered from the mastermind

Naveen Nischal, New Delhi: The Delhi Police has arrested the mastermind of the gang that steals vehicles from different areas of Delhi and disposes of them. Many luxury vehicles have been recovered from it. The arrested mastermind has been identified as Jayant Kumar. Creta, Brija, Hyundai vehicles, high security number plates, scooters, car stealing tools have been recovered from it.

With his arrest, the cases of Desh Bandhu Gupta Road, Bindapur, Mohan Garden, Vijay Vihar and Dwarka North police stations have been disclosed. Now on his trail, the police team is conducting raids to arrest his absconding associates Pramod Nagar, Deepak and Nadeem.

DCP Central Sanjay Kumar Sen told that the team of Anti Auto Theft Squad of Central District has succeeded in arresting this mastermind. A team of sub-inspectors Ravi Shankar Tyagi, Majid Khan, Rakesh Kanwarpal, Ajay Kumar, Surendra, Praveen, Nirmal Jeet Singh, Lukman, head constables Rajesh, Vijay and Sandeep under the supervision of ACP Operation Ajay Kumar was deployed for its arrest.

When the police team got information that it was about to come to Rohini area. The police team arrested it by setting a trap there. During interrogation, it was identified that the car by which he had reached here turned out to be stolen from Bindapur area.

On further questioning and at his instance, several more vehicles were recovered. According to the police, with his arrest, the cases of Desh Bandhu Gupta Road, Mohan Garden, Bindapur, Vijay Vihar and Dwarka North police stations have been disclosed.
