Govardhan, Due to unknown reasons, fire broke out in more than a dozen tea kiosks kept on the roadside near Mukhrai intersection located on Radhakund Chhatikara Marg. The people of the surrounding area were horrified by the sound of explosions of the gas cylinders kept there, one after the other. Villagers of Mukhrai and Radhakund informed the police about the incident who ran towards the incident site. Due to the sound of cylinder blasts, the villagers and police personnel stood at a distance of 500 meters from the incident site for about an hour. Firefighters brought the fire under control after the cylinders burst. However, by then thousands of rupees had already been damaged in the fire.
It is noteworthy that Kamal Baghel, Vikram, Bhura, Chandrapal Chaudhary and other people of Radhakund have opened tea kiosks on the roadside of Radhakund Chhatikara Marg. On Wednesday night at around 2 o’clock suddenly, due to unknown reasons, the tea hollows caught fire. The cylinders kept there started exploding. The villagers of Radhakund and Mukhrai were horrified by the sound of explosions one after the other. They started expressing apprehensions of some untoward incident in the village. Some people saw from the roof tops of the houses that arson was taking place. After this, the villagers of Mukhrai ran towards Radhakund Chhatikara road. Stayed away from the explosions of gas cylinders in the middle of the fire. Police was informed about the incident. The police called the fire brigade fire personnel. After a lot of effort, the fire could be controlled. However, it is a matter of honor that at the time when this incident took place, there was no pilgrim and no hollow driver present, otherwise a big incident cannot be denied. Since the places where these events have taken place, pilgrims throng there and hundreds of vehicles are parked.
Outpost in-charge Raghavendra Singh told that the fire was very strong, the fire has been controlled. There has been no loss of life.
