Meerut. Janhit Foundation and Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation US will jointly conduct public awareness programs in 150 villages of Baghpat district.
Under the “Access to Justice” programme, an awareness program will be organized under the Child Marriage Free India campaign. Under which people will be informed about the ill-effects of child marriage, child labour, child trafficking, child sexual abuse, as well as pledge and oath will also be taken from the present villagers to prevent child marriage and child labour. They will be made active and sensitive by forming village level child protection committees. The people of the community will be given information regarding the prevention of this type of social evil with the help of legal help to stop child marriage and child labor. In case of child marriage, legal action and punishment will be explained in detail. Everyone will be told to be alert from the temptation given in child labor and child trafficking.
Information will be given about sexual abuse
Information about sexual abuse of children will be given. Along with this, awareness will be made by giving information about the cooperation and compensation received from the Child Help Line Service 1098, District Child Protection Unit, Child Welfare Committee, District Legal Services Authority.
People of 150 villages will be connected
Children will be informed about good touch and bad touch under the “Access to Justice” program by Anita Rana Malik, director of Janhit Foundation. Janhit Foundation will unite the people of these 150 villages to make them crime free.
