The investigation of the Aryan Khan-Mumbai cruise drugs case has been transferred from the Mumbai zone of the Narcotics Control Bureau to the agency’s central team. Now NCB’s Mumbai Zonal Officer Director Sameer Wankhede will no longer investigate the Aryan Khan case. Apart from the Mumbai drugs case, five other cases, including those related to Sameer Khan, son-in-law of Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik, have also been handed over from Mumbai NCB to the central team of NCB. Sanjay Singh, deputy director general of the central unit of NCB, will now investigate all the cases.
Sanjay Singh will investigate the cases
Sanjay Singh is a 1996 batch Odisha cadre officer. Please note that only cases have been transferred. Sameer Wankhede will remain in his post and will investigate the rest of the cases. Speaking on the case transfer cases, Sameer Wankhede said that I have not been removed from anywhere “The cases have been transferred. He further said that I have not been removed from the investigation. My writ petition in Bombay High Court was that the matter be investigated by a central agency like CBI or NIA. Based on that an SIT has been formed which will investigate the cases.

Nawab Malik took a jibe at Sameer Wankhede
It is being said that during the Aryan case, there have been many serious allegations against Sameer Wankhede. A witness has also said the matter of recovery, so for now these cases have been withdrawn from him and Sanjay Singh is going to take this investigation forward. At the same time, after the transfer of the case, Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik has taunted Sameer Wankhede. He said that this is just the beginning, the system needs to be cleaned from the root. He tweeted on social media and wrote – Sameer Wankhede was removed from five cases. 26 more cases are yet to be investigated. This is just the beginning, the system will be wiped out from the root.
