Noida Airport Update: Work is progressing fast at Noida International Airport. Right now 2600 laborers are working here, whose number is ready to be increased to 5 thousand. Flight is expected from this airport by the end of 2024. ATC work has also started here. This tower will be made 40 meters high.

At present, the work of the first phase of Noida International Airport is going on. The leveling and excavation work at the site has been completed. During the site visit on Tuesday, it was seen that the foundation work is nearing completion. In the next few months, many buildings will be seen being constructed here. In these, apart from passenger terminal building, office block, sewage and water treatment plants, construction of electrical sub-stations will be done on a war footing. A cargo hub will be built on 80 acres at the airport. This cargo hub will be set up as a cargo gateway for North India. According to the agreement, one runway and one terminal will come into operation by the end of 2024.
Runway and ATC tower work on war footing
A 4,000 meter long and 45 meter wide runway is being built in this airport. Work is going on fast on the runway. At some places the work of up to 5 layers has been done and at some places the work of 3-4 layers is going on. Work is being done simultaneously on the entire runway in which more than 50 machines are engaged in leveling the soil. The work of ATC (Air Traffic Control) tower is going on next to it. The height of the ATC tower will be up to 40 metres. This will give air traffic controllers a 360-degree view of the airport. 8 hectares of land has been taken to create a forest park from the trees removed during the construction of the airport. It is being told that travelers and visitors will be able to spend their free time here. It will be developed as a green area for the airport.
Foundation of terminal building ready
At present, work is going on fast for the terminal building. In many places, the work of terminal building has started above the ground level. According to the officials present on the spot, the foundation of more than 80 percent terminal building is ready. The way to reach this terminal building has been kept very easy. The first thing you will come across as you enter the airport is the terminal building. For this, a glimpse of Banaras Ghat will be included in the design.
