Bijnor: Under the initiative of Modi Government’s Guarantee of ‘Our Resolution Developed India’ programme, under Nari Shakti, Nari Samman, Nari Self-reliance, various types of stalls like – Bijnor Gas Agency, Asha HP Gas were set up in the premises of Ejaz Ali Hall. About 28 KYCs were received for providing free LPG gas connections to women, out of which 06 women were provided gas stove, safety pipe, regulator and cylinder etc. along with gas connection. The campaigns organized by PNB, the leading bank, in urban areas include schemes like PM Swanidhi, PM Vishwakarma, PM Ujjwala, PM Mudra Loan, Startup India-Standup India, Ayushman Bharat (Chhattisgarh), PM Awas Yojana (Urban), Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. (Urban) Registration of beneficiaries was done under PM e-bus service, Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT), PM Bharatiya Janaushadhi Project, UJALA and PM Saubhagya schemes etc. On this occasion, Urban Livelihood Center (CLC) Women were registered for employment only for Rs 100.00 (registration fee for one year). District Health Committee, National Mission Bijnor also informed the women about family planning methods and registered them and DUDA department provided PM Awas Yojana, loans up to Rs 10 thousand, Rs 20 thousand, Rs 50 thousand for street vendors and “Svanidhi Se Samriddhi Tak” Registrations were done by making women aware about the benefits of the schemes. Along with giving information to women about self-help groups like Avantika, Shri Sai, Durga, Kalyani etc., about the materials made from waste material etc., registrations were done to join the group and information was also made available. On behalf of Municipality Bijnor, a new drinking water scheme for women was made and information about assets etc. was given and certificates of birth and death etc. were issued and data etc. were collected. On this occasion, Municipality President Mrs. Indira Singh and Senior BJP leader Dr. Birbal Singh undersigned, councilors, officers/employees, ration dealers and distinguished citizens etc. were present. The program was completed successfully.
