Rajasthan’s Namchit now former Blue Tick holder, removed from Gehlot but Pilot and Vasundhara’s ‘status’ intact

Jaipur: On Friday, Twitter removed the blue tick from the accounts of Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Governor Kalraj Mishra. However, this special blue ‘status’ is still intact on the handle of some selected people of the state. These include former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot.

Blue tick removed from Chief Minister’s account

The blue tick has been removed from the Twitter account of Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.

Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore is also a former blue ticker

The blue tick of senior Rajasthan BJP leader and Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore has also been removed.

Governor’s official account also removed

The effect of the new rules of Twitter is also clearly visible on the official Twitter account of the Governor of the state.

Vasundhara’s status intact

At the same time, Twitter has retained the blue tick of former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje’s account.

Pilot’s status intact

Twitter has retained the blue tick of former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot’s account.

Poonia’s status changed

The status of former BJP State President Dr. Satish Poonia has now become former Blue Tick holder.

Dotasara’s blue tick not removed

The Twitter account of Rajasthan Congress President Govind Singh Dotasara is maintaining the same blue tick status as before.

Blue tick of Congress in-charge also removed

Along with the CM, the blue tick has also been removed from the Twitter account of State Congress in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa.
