Rajasthan accident: Chief Minister expressed grief over the death of 12 people of Gujarat, announced assistance of Rs 4 lakh to the families of the deceased.
Bhavnagar/Ahmedabad (H.S.). State Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel expressed deep grief over the death of 12 devotees from Gujarat traveling in a bus and injuries to several people who lost their lives in a horrific road accident in Bharatpur, Rajasthan. Chief Minister of the state Bhupendra Patel has given Rs 4 lakh to the families of the deceased and compensation to the injured. An assistance of Rs 50 thousand has been announced.
On Wednesday morning, a bus going from Bhavnagar, Gujarat to Mathura, parked on the side of Agra-Jaipur highway, was hit from behind by a speeding truck. In which 12 passengers of the bus died and many people were injured. The deceased include Antubhai Laljibhai Gayani, Nandrambhai Mathurbhai Gayani, Lallubhai Dayabhai Gayani, Bharatbhai Bhikhabhai, Laljibhai Manjibhai, Ambaben Jinabhai, Kambuben Papatbhai and Madhuben Laljibhai Chudasama. All the bodies have been kept in Bharatpur mortuary. Many people are seriously injured in the accident.
State President of Gujarat Congress Committee and MP Shakti Singh Gohil has expressed condolences to the families of the deceased and said that Almighty God may give peace to the souls of the deceased and heal all those injured in the accident. May God give strength to the family of the deceased to bear the sudden loss.
