Chandigarh DSP Dil Sher Singh Chandel termed Sidhu’s remarks as shameful. He said that it is very shameful that a senior leader uses such words for his police force. humiliates them. He said that the police is the force that protects him and his family. Chandel said that they should return the police force personnel deployed in security.

The DSP said that he should know that even a rickshaw puller without the security forces would not listen to him. I strongly condemn this comment. They should not use such words for their police force. The police force has its own dignity and respect. It is the responsibility of all of us to maintain this dignity.

Why use such language for us
Punjab Police Sub Inspector Balbir Singh posted in Jalandhar Rural also strongly condemned Sidhu’s remarks. He issued a message saying that a senior leader uses such language against us. I strongly condemn him. He requested the DGP of Punjab that the image of the police should not be allowed to be tarnished. Balveer said that we live with our family in the society. Children ask us why such language is being used against us?
