Police arrested 4 vicious accused who attempted cow slaughter

The car used in the incident, three pistols, cartridges and equipment for cow slaughter were recovered from the accused.

Hapur. Police Station Hapur Nagar has arrested 4 vicious accused who attempted cow slaughter during checking. From whose possession the car used in the incident, three pistols, cartridges and cow slaughter equipment have been recovered. SP Abhishek Verma said that on the information of the informer, police station Hapur Nagar, Naeem s/o Karmilahi, Waseem s/o, who attempted cow slaughter during checking Sharif, Afzal alias Banda s/o Bundu and Farid s/o Faiyaz residents of Muradnagar district Ghaziabad were arrested near temple on Dastoi road from Sarawa village. The arrested accused used to do illegal felling of banned animals roaming on the roads during the day, taking them to a safe forest at night and earning financial profit by selling them in Delhi, Ghaziabad, Meerut and nearby areas. The police have also arrested Ayyub and Bhura, residents of Delhi, for buying meat from banned animals. Accused Waseem, Naeem and Afzal alias Banda are vicious criminals, on whom about 3 dozen cases of Arms Act, Gangster Act, Cow Slaughter Act are registered in Meerut, Ghaziabad, Hapur and Delhi districts. While the accused Wasim was wanted in the Animal Cruelty Act from District Ghaziabad and Gangster Act from Naeem Delhi and Ghaziabad, Animal Cruelty Act. The police is also probing the criminal history of the other accused.
