    PM Modi arrives in Jammu and Kashmir to celebrate Diwali, a union of soldiers in the army

    Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Jammu and Kashmir to celebrate the Union of Army personnel posted along the LoC. After reaching Jammu and Kashmir, the Prime Minister first paid tribute to the soldiers who had died for the country, after that he went to meet the soldiers. As soon as the Prime Minister reached there, the whole area reverberated with the slogans of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’.

    When the Prime Minister reached the jawans, the enthusiasm of the soldiers was worth seeing. Prime Minister Modi extended many Diwali wishes to the jawans and said that “I have come here not as the Prime Minister of the country but as a member of your family to celebrate Diwali”. He further said that I have celebrated my maximum Diwali, the jawans union of my country, I have come here today with all the best wishes and blessings of the entire country.

    The soldiers of the army were very happy to have the Prime Minister of the country among them, in their eyes there was no sorrow to be away from their family. Jawans of Nowshera Brigade posted along the Line of Control in district Rajouri raised the slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai so loudly that the whole area reverberated, with a different smile on their face. The Prime Minister also appeared very happy to meet the soldiers. The Prime Minister said that our jawans are the armor of Mother India, because of your protection, every resident of the country is able to sleep peacefully.

    Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing the army said that the whole country is proud of every soldier sitting away from his families on the border. Recalling the surgical strike, Prime Minister Modi said that the whole country is proud of the role played by this army brigade in the surgical strike. The Prime Minister said that I can never forget that day because on that day our soldiers were to return before sunset, I was sitting near the phone the whole time waiting for this and was constantly asking about the condition of our soldiers.

    PM Modi further said that earlier it used to take years to buy modern equipment for our security forces, but now work is being done fast to make the defense sector self-reliant. Continuous efforts are being made in manufacturing new equipment, we are working to make our security system more powerful. Roads are being constructed to ensure that essential supplies reach our jawans posted along the LoC borders at the earliest, to connect the entire country together.
