    Passengers traveling in train can get relief, Indian Railways may cut ticket prices

    Those who travel by train can get a big relief, because the Indian Railway Ministry can cut the ticket prices of passengers by up to 15 percent. In the last weeks, the Indian Railways had started a plan to make special trains regular, that is, it was decided to start normal passenger train operations once again. Now that the corona seems to be decreasing in the country, then once again special trains will be regularized, due to which there may be a reduction in fares.

    According to a report, the special trains started by the Indian Railways Ministry due to Corona have been started once again for normal travel. These trains have now been converted into normal train services, due to which it is estimated that a discount of up to 15 percent can be given in the fare.

    In the first 6 months of the financial year 2021-2022, 1180.19 million passengers have traveled through railways, let us tell you that in the last financial year, only 69.88 million passengers traveled by rail. In this financial year till September, Indian Railways earned Rs 15,434.18 crore as fare from passengers, in the last financial year till September, Indian Railways earned Rs 1,258.74 crore. If we compare this earning with the earnings before the corona epidemic, then this figure is very less. In the 2019-2020 financial year, 4,173.52 million passengers traveled by railways, due to which Indian Railways earned Rs 26,642.73 crore in the first 6 months of that financial year.

    Indian Railways is making every effort to prevent the spread of Corona Pandemic, Indian Railways is not serving cooked food in trains and making high rates for tickets to prevent the spread of Corona Pandemic.
