Meerut. Police station Parikshitgarh had an encounter with gokash miscreants. In retaliatory action, a miscreant was injured by bullet, who was arrested by the police. 03 miscreants were arrested in Kambing. From whose possession a pick-up vehicle, a Santro car, a live cow, knife, gokshi equipment and illegal weapons, cartridges have been recovered.

Police station chief Pankaj Kumar Singh said, on the information of the informer, the police raided the mango orchard on the way to Jithola in Agwanpur forest late night. Cow slaughter was being attempted here, the police reached the spot even before the cow slaughter. Due to the encounter between the police team and the cattle, one cow, Imran’s son Islamuddin, resident of Calirampur police station, Parikshitgarh, was shot in the leg and arrested on the spot. Three of his associates were also arrested after combing.
