The new variant Omicron of Corona has knocked in the country. In such a situation, the health department has become fully alert. Now people coming from abroad may have to hide and seek. The health department is closely monitoring the passengers coming from outside. There are also some passengers who are not updating their details after coming to the city or are not reaching for investigation. Not only this, some people are even giving their address wrong. The Health Department has decided to take action to crack down on these people. Those who come from abroad and do not give information in 3 days, FIR will be lodged against them.
Corona investigation is not being done
At present, the Omicron variant is spreading in different states of the country. Although some experts are telling that it is not very fatal, but still there is a need to be careful. In such a situation, there is also a need to keep an eye on the citizens coming from abroad, but in Faridabad, the citizens coming from abroad are not giving their full report to the Health Department. If the rule is seen, then if a citizen lands at the airport from abroad, then he gets tested there. If someone’s report comes positive, then he is stopped and admitted there. If someone’s report comes negative, he is allowed to go, but he is instructed to remain in quarantine for 8 days. After the completion of the quarantine period, it is necessary for everyone to get the corona test done again. In such a situation, people are not reaching to get this test done. Such people have increased the concern of the health department.
Health department is giving three days time
Chief Medical Officer Dr. Vinay Gupta said that legal action would be taken against those returning from abroad who are not contacting the health department. Under this, the Health Department has given three days to those returning from abroad and has asked everyone to get sampling done. If no one does sampling during three days, then a list of the people concerned will be prepared and handed over to the DC and a complaint will be given to the police through the DC.
In this regard, Chief Medical Officer Dr Vinay Gupta said that, we are trying our best to trace and sample all the people returning from abroad, but some people are giving wrong information.
Wrong information being written at the airport
Everyone needs to be cautious so that new infection does not spread from Omicron. Let us tell you that, when a passenger lands at the airport, his complete information is recorded and sent to the respective states. The state government sends it according to different districts to the health department there so that they can be monitored. Some passengers are giving their wrong information at the airport, which remains a matter of concern for the local health department officials.
833 people from abroad are missing
According to the data of the Health Department, 1570 travelers from countries like South Africa, Japan, UK, US, Singapore have come to Faridabad, out of which 737 people can be traced. While 833 people are still missing. Their tracing is still pending. Their list is being prepared, which will be sent to higher officials and written for action.
