Did objectionable post on WhatsApp group
Ashish Singh, former divisional president of Hindu Yuva Vahini, had given a complaint against Nizam Khan in Kotwali Nagar. Through Tahrir, Ashish Singh informed that there is a group on WhatsApp, whose job is to ‘do social service’. In this group, the teacher leader had posted the objectionable photo of the Chief Minister from his number. Ashish Singh wrote that this post of his has created anger among the Hindu public and sages. In the edited photo, CM Yogi was shown touching the feet of former chief minister Akhilesh Yadav. This post was made viral on social media as a teacher leader. Taking cognizance of the earlier and given post of Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s Ashish Singh, the Nagar Kotwali police had started ensuring immediate legal action.
Police arrested for breach of peace
Nizam Khan was booked under section 505(2) of the Indian Penal Code, 1980. The Kotwali police arrested him for disturbing the peace. Who were produced before Magistrate Kahkasha Anjum. Considering the episode as serious, the Magistrate rejected his bail and directed to send him to jail. Nagar Kotwali police has sent them to jail.
