The new report of NITI Aayog has surprised everyone. Four districts of Bihar have been included in the top 5 districts of the country for better performance in the education sector in October 2021. At the same time, a district of Jharkhand is on the top of this list.

Releasing the ‘Delta Ranking’ on Friday, NITI Aayog has placed Muzaffarpur at the second position. It is followed by Aurangabad, Banka and Sheikhpura at third, fourth and fifth place. Dumka has topped the list in the field of education in Jharkhand.

The Delta ranking is measured as a measure of progress made by over 112 aspirational districts across six developmental regions of the country. Health and nutrition, education, agriculture and water resources, financial inclusion, skill development and infrastructure development sectors were taken into account for the ranking.
