The central government has named this scheme as Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana and Public Provident Fund Account. The account of this scheme can be opened in the post office, in which after investing for 15 years, daughters will not have to worry about money for higher education, employment or marriage on completion of 21 years and sons on completion of 18 years.
To make people aware, a campaign is being run by the Muzaffarpur Head Post Office to open Sukanya Samridhi Yojana for girl students and Public Provident Fund Account (PPF) account for students, which will run till 10 September 2022. During this, a contact campaign is being conducted with the schools to open the account of the students in the post office under the scheme.
Under this, the Department of Posts is going to the government school for Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana and Public Provident Fund account. It is motivating the students studying there from their level to open an account. This meaningful initiative will prove to be a milestone in building a successful and bright future for the youth.
