A bumper crowd of tourists has gathered in Mussoorie on Sunday. There is a jam from Kincraig to Mall Road, Library Chowk, Kempty Road. 80 percent of the hotels here are full. The policemen had to struggle a lot to clear the traffic jams at the intersections.
Under the 13th Finance Commission on behalf of the Uttarakhand Tourism Department, a multilevel car parking was constructed at a cost of Rs 3195.38 crore near the petrol pump on the Dehradun Mussoorie road. On March 29, 2015, the foundation stone of multilevel car parking with a capacity of 212 cars was laid by former Chief Minister Harish Rawat.
