- Karjat, Sondai Fort (Karjat)
Located near Mumbai (weekend getaway from mumbai), Karjat is a beautiful monsoon destination, known for its greenery, rivers and waterfalls. 3. Dahanu (Dahanu)
A small seaside town about 137 km from Mumbai, Dahanu is a very peaceful place. Where you can come comfortably during Saturday-Sunday holiday. This place, famous for chikoo, will also be loved by seafood eaters. Dahanu Beach and Bordi Beach here are cleaner and less crowded than the beaches of Mumbai. 6. Alibag, Revdanda Beach (Alibag)
Aligarh, situated on the beach, about 109 km from Mumbai, is a favorite weekend destination of the common man as well as Bollywood actors. But the “Revdanda Beach” located on the Alibaug-Murud-Janjira road, about 20 km from Alibaug, is known for its serenity. Here you can enjoy the comfort of golden sand and blue sea. The Flamingo Sanctuary in Airoli near Mumbai is a great place to go with kids. Wherever you live in Mumbai, you can easily reach here by taking a local train to Airoli. This entire area has been developed as an eco-sensitive zone. Despite being near the city, here you will feel peace like a forest. You can enjoy boating as well as the entire sanctuary here.

Neha says that there is much less crowd here than the rest of the places in Lonavala. So you can spend some time comfortably here and after reaching here, you can also enjoy onion bhajji.
