Malvani Police has arrested three miscreants of a gang who blackmailed them by making obscene videos of high profile youth through social media. According to the police, the names of the accused are Irfan Khan (26), Ahmed Sheikh (24) and Imran Sheikh (24). Apart from this, Sohail and another accused associated with this gang are absconding. All the accused are said to be gay.

It is alleged that on January 16, these accused called Malvani, a 23-year-old accountant resident of Borivali, to have a physical relationship by befriending him through Ginder mobile app and then misbehaved with him. When the accused talked about having a relationship with the victim youth, the victim opposed him. After this, the accused assaulted her and snatched her purse and mobile. Apart from this, he also shot a video of having sex and threatened to upload it on social media. Along with this, the debit card of the victim was snatched.
However, before the miscreants disappeared after withdrawing money from the victim’s bank account, the victim informed her family members. The family went to the Mmachabi police station and lodged a complaint. The police took the matter seriously and formed a team under the guidance of Zonal DCP Vishal Thakur. Mulani laid a trap in Malvani and surrounding areas to nab the accused and arrested the three accused from Malvani.
