Bhopal (Hindustan Reporter) Dr. Mohan Yadav’s cabinet was expanded in a ceremony held at Raj Bhavan in Madhya Pradesh on Monday, in which 28 ministers were sworn in. Ten ministers of the previous Shivraj Singh Chouhan government have not been able to get a place in the new government this time. These include Gopal Bhargava, Bhupendra Singh, Brijendra Pratap Singh, Meena Singh, Dr. Prabhuram Chaudhary, Usha Thakur, Hardeep Singh Dung, Om Prakash Sakhalecha, Bisahulal Singh, Brijedra Singh Yadav.
Gopal Bhargava: Became MLA for the ninth time. Over 70 years of age. Govind Singh Rajput of Scindia camp was selected from Sagar on the basis of caste equations. Due to this reason Bhargav coming from Sagar district did not get a chance.
Bhupendra Singh: Was a minister close to Shivraj. Due to Govind Singh Rajput from Sagar being made minister, Bhupendra Singh did not fit into the caste and regional equation. The dispute between Gopal Bhargava and Bhupendra Singh resulted in loss for both of them.
Brijendra Pratap Singh: MLA from Panna and minister in Shivraj government. Belongs to Kshatriya community, but does not fit into the caste equations. While he was a minister, complaints about some of his close ones and relatives were also made secretly in the party organization.
Meena Singh: Became MLA from Manpur for the fifth time. Was a minister in Shivraj government. The party made Sampatia Uike from the tribal community a minister. Talks about poor coordination with officers in the department also kept coming up during his tenure.
Hardeep Singh Dang: Has become MLA from Suwasra for the fourth time. He left Congress and joined BJP. Shivraj Singh is considered close to Chauhan. He was also a minister in the previous government. There are seven members in the cabinet including the Chief Minister from Malwa-Nimar, hence he did not fit into the regional equation properly.
Om Prakash Sakhalecha: Son of former minister Virendra Sakhalecha. He was also a minister in the previous government. He had MSME department. His performance as a minister was not considered very good. Making more people from Malvanchal as ministers could upset the regional balance.
Bisahulal Singh: Came to BJP from Congress. He has the image of a great tribal leader. Became MLA for the seventh time. He is 73 years old. Four ministers were made from the tribal community, hence they did not fit into the equation.
Usha Thakur: Due to the appointment of Kailash Vijvargiya and Tulsiram Silavat as ministers from Indore, she lagged behind in the regional equation. While being a minister, his performance in departmental work was not considered very good.
Dr. Prabhuram Chaudhary: MLA from Sanchi. Jyotiraditya came to BJP from Congress with Scindia. The performance while he was a minister was not very good.
Brijedra Singh Yadav: Has become MLA from Mungawali seat for the third time. He comes from Yadav community. Apart from Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Krishna Gaur is also a woman, due to which she had to be ousted due to caste equation.
