Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) informed on Thursday that the unmanned flight testing TV-D1 for Gaganyaan human space flight mission will start at 7.30 am on Saturday. Earlier on October 17, ISRO said in a post on social media platform ‘X’, “Mission Gaganyaan: TV-D1 test flight is scheduled for October 21, 2023 from Satish Dhawan Space Center, Sriharikota. With this mission, the system that will bring the astronauts inside safely to Earth in case of any malfunction in the rocket is going to be tested. The TV-D1 test flight will be followed by three more test vehicle missions under the Gaganyaan programme.
