New Delhi (EMS). These days the BJP is busy preparing for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. It is being speculated that preparations are being made to change the state level teams to improve the ground tightness. Sources reveal that the BJP has now started preparations to tighten the screws of the organization. Under this, the party can change the state president in many states and changes will also be made in the local teams. Apart from this, some leaders can also be brought in new roles. There is an internal discussion in the party that there are many office bearers who are holding important responsibilities, but they have little experience of contesting and contesting elections. In such a situation, preference will be given to those people who have long experience of electoral politics. Especially big leaders of Maharashtra and Gujarat can get important responsibilities. BJP sources say that the party is trying to repeat its 2019 performance in big states like UP and Maharashtra. 128 seats in the Lok Sabha come from these two states only. UP has 80 seats, followed by Maharashtra, which sends 48 MPs to Delhi.
Sources say that the BJP is running considering its position as strong in UP. Even after this, it has decided to focus on 9 seats, where it could not win earlier. However, the party is more concerned about Maharashtra. The reason for this is that Shiv Sena with NCP, Congress and Uddhav Thackeray faction are together. When these three come together, a mass base is definitely formed. The social equation is also prepared in such a way, which is going to increase the tension of the BJP. The unity of the three parties increases the concerns of the BJP from Vidarbha, Marathwada to Mumbai. Although he has hope from the Eknath Shinde faction, but there is a problem in this too.
Significantly, there was a meeting between Amit Shah, JP Nadda and BJP’s organization general secretary BL Santosh on Monday and Tuesday. In this meeting, there was also talk about reshuffle in the organization. Especially in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, there has been talk about who should be given what responsibility. Let us inform that BJP has already given Vinod Tawde, Sunil Bansal and Tarun Chugh the responsibility of campaigning in those seats where it is weak. All these three leaders are trusted by Amit Shah. Sources say that BJP has selected 160 such seats across the country, where it will focus more and it is considering itself weak here.
