Minister Kapil Dev launched the cleanliness campaign on the call of Prime Minister Modi on the occasion of Pran Pratistha in Shri Ram Temple and said that building a green, clean India is the collective responsibility of all of us. Cleanliness campaign is being run across the country from January 14. Under this, many ministers and leaders cleaned temples and other places across the country. In the same sequence, city MLA and state government minister Kapil Dev Aggarwal along with Union Minister Sanjeev Balyan and Municipality President Meenakshi Swaroop launched the cleanliness campaign in and around Shiv Chowk as part of the cleanliness campaign before the consecration ceremony in Ayodhya. Minister Kapil Dev said that on the auspicious occasion of consecration of life in Prabhu Shri Ram temple, in continuation of the call of the country’s famous Prime Minister Narendra Modi to clean the pilgrimage places and temples of the country and run a cleanliness campaign from January 14 to January 22. In 2017, he launched the cleanliness campaign in the premises of Shiv Chowk temple, the heart of the city, and the surrounding areas. He appealed to all the residents of the area to pay attention towards cleanliness and said that the responsibility of cleanliness around us is not only of the cleaning workers, but it is also our responsibility to keep the environment around us clean. He said that the objective of cleanliness is not only to clean the surroundings but also to create a clean India by planting more and more trees with the participation of citizens and creating a garbage-free environment. Giving information, Minister Kapil Dev said that on December 30, PM Narendra Modi had given a call from Ayodhya that Swachh Mohalla, Swachh Gram, Ayodhya Dham. PM Modi himself started this campaign from Panchvati, where Lord Ram stayed for the longest time during his exile. It is well known that the consecration of Ram temple will be done on 22 January. Under this, BJP requested the people of Hindu community to provide service and participate in the cleanliness campaign starting from today (Makar). Let us tell you that this campaign will continue till 22nd January till the consecration of Ram Lalla.
