Bijnor. Chairman Shri Ram Chauhan, while praising the development work done by the district administration in Amangarh range, directed the District Magistrate to appoint a nodal officer to monitor and implement the development works being done there so that the quality of the work can be ensured. He also directed that complete details of the development works done in Amangarh range along with the budget should be presented to the committee. Along with this, he also directed to direct the departmental officers to submit the booklet made by the high level committee for review of the works with all the necessary details and information so that all the points can be reviewed. Honorable Chairman Shri Chauhan replied. While presiding over the meeting of the sub-committee of the Joint Committee on Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes and Denotified Castes of the State Legislature, held in the Collectorate Auditorium, he was giving instructions to the officers present. He directed that the district administration should ensure that the Scheduled Castes and Tribes Employees should be appointed in all departments as per the quota set under reservation. While reviewing the work done by the Social Welfare Department, he directed to ensure wide publicity of the schemes which have been discontinued or which have been started by the government so that the general public can become aware of those schemes. Apart from this, he also directed that maximum benefits of the beneficial schemes being run by the government for Scheduled Castes and Tribes should be available to the eligible people with full quality. He said that the objective of these schemes is to raise the standard of living of the socially backward people and ensure their economic and social upliftment. He directed the Superintending Engineer Electrical to provide the number of personnel working as contractual employees in the Electricity Department and the number of personnel belonging to Scheduled Castes and Tribes and their complete details in relation to the committee. On this occasion, the Honorable Committee Members/Hon. Nagina MLA Manoj Paras said about the police post built in front of Nagina railway crossing that the post has been built on donated land and cemetery land on which the shops built have been demolished illegally by the municipal administration. The Honorable Chairman directed the Superintendent of Police to conduct an investigation in this regard and present the report before the committee. On this occasion, the District Magistrate honored the Honorable Chairman and members by giving them a watch made in the form of an insignia of ODOP wood art product made in Nagina. District Magistrate Ankit Kumar Aggarwal expressed his gratitude to the Chairman of Sub-Committee of Uttar Pradesh Legislature Shri Ram Chauhan and other members on their arrival in Bijnor and assured that compliance will be ensured as per the guidelines given by them. On this occasion, all the members of the Honorable Committee were present. Devendra Singh Lodhi, Ram Gopal Anjan, Umar Ali Khan and other members, Superintendent of Police Neeraj Kumar Jadaun, Chief Development Officer Purna Bora, Project Director DRDA Dnyaneshwar Tiwari, District Social Welfare Officer Jageshwar Singh, District Disability Officer Ajay Kumar and other related departments. District level officers were present.
