Patients increased 3 times in 6 days
The increasing number of corona patients in the state has once again raised the concern of the government. The number of active patients has increased by 50 percent in the last 20 days, while the number of patients has increased three times in the last 6 days. To deal with this, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has asked to strictly follow the Corona rules. Along with this, the officials of the Health Department have been instructed to speed up the work of vaccination.

In the cabinet meeting on Monday, the ministers demanded to rein in the increasing number of patients. In the meeting, Additional Chief Secretary, Health Department, Dr. Pradeep Vyas gave detailed information about the current situation. He told the ministers that on December 8, the number of active patients in the state was 6,200, which has increased to 10 thousand.

The positivity rate in the state is 1.06 percent. Giving a presentation in the cabinet meeting, Dr. Vyas said that the number of active patients of Covid may increase in the middle of January. He told that a few days ago 8 lakh doses of vaccine were being given in a day, now 5 lakh doses are being given.
